Union Cities Indiana and Ohio are small rural communities nestled on the Indiana and Ohio State borders. The State Line (or lines) is a street separating the two. It is an area where you have very capable law enforcement and dedicated ambulance and fire personnel. Unlike large metropolitan areas we have safe streets at night, walking distance to most basic family needs and more than reasonable real estate prices plus good school systems. We suffer most small town problems but basically support traditional family values and provide a safe and secure municipal environment. Not perfect but we need a "few good people" or industry to sustain the towns' economic bases. Rural enough to enjoy a country bike ride or swim team participation but close enough to hustle and bustle metropolitan areas for national arts and entertainment activities. Wouldn't you rather be a somebody in a nobody town than to be a nobody in a somebody town.
Please be patient. It will take a few minutes for the photos to download.......it's worth the wait. Thank you!
